Inquiring Minds Want to Know: Yard Sale Report

I promised to give you a follow-up report about our yard sale that we held a couple of weeks ago, and I forgot! Thanks to my cousin, Susan, I’m back on track, and here I am with a full report! We got everything out the night before, covering the tables with old blankets and tarps. The next morning, although we advertised starting at eight, we had people showing up at 6:30 a.m.! I didn’t even have everything out yet! It was a steady stream of people all day, with things finally slowing down in the late afternoon. I was ready to quit by 4:00 p.m., and I only had two bags and two small boxes of items that did not sell. It wasn’t worth the trouble of setting up the next day. Overall, I made $500! I’m so glad…that’s a nice little chunk of change to pay on my credit card as the snowball gets a little bigger toward paying off my debt!
